The police have started a search operation, including the use of police dogs and a helicopter. The suspects’ scooter has now been found, the police reported on X. It was in the water along the Hoflanderweg.
The helicopter circles above the area around Kuenenplein and Wijkerbaan, among others. A police spokesperson tells NH that the suspect has ‘moved towards Heemskerk’.
Smashed display cases
Photos show that the duo has done a lot of damage in the store. The floor is littered with glass from smashed display cases. The street is partly closed off.
