Three criminal reports have been filed regarding Forssa’s suspected abuses. The information was confirmed by the crime commissioner of Kanta-Häme police, who is leading the investigation Tom Repo.

The events take place in the last weekend of August. According to IL’s information, the brawl had started in a restaurant in Forssa on the night between Saturday and Sunday. The suspected assaults took place outside, at least near the restaurant.

Each criminal report has a different interested party.

Among other things, IL reported at the end of August that members of the Mestis hockey club Forssa Palloseura were involved in suspected abuse. FPS announced on Tuesday, August 30, that it suspended two people from its organization due to the events of the weekend.

On Monday, almost two weeks later, the chairman of the FPS board Pasi Nuora gave a status update.

– The persons are currently involved in the operation, because no investigation or anything else has come to light against them at this stage.

– If something comes up, we will react if there is a need, Nuora said.

According to the police, criminal reports have been made about the incidents. Have you been in contact with the police or any other entity outside the club regarding the events?

– We are not aware of any investigation requests being made about the members of our club. I think something else has happened in the villages then, Nuora answered.

“Some of the names are known”

The head of the investigation, Repo, said that the preliminary investigations are still ongoing. Not all parties involved have been heard yet.

– We are now trying to find out the course of events. Some of the names of the people who were there are known. We are trying to find out if there are other people involved.

The police have also investigated the case with the help of videos and surveillance camera tapes.

– The investigation is so far in progress that I cannot tell you exactly about the information. I know there have been police patrols there. After the restaurant closed, people have been moving in quite a large area outside.

“don’t kill it”

Iltalehti has seen a one-minute long video of the events. The video shows a violent fight involving several people.

The events of the video begin when one person is pushed over onto the asphalt. When that person stood up with his fists raised, several people attacked him.

The person lying on the ground was hit several times.

– They don’t fit that many dudes on it now, one voice in the video said.

– Don’t kill it! another warned.

The situation quickly escalated. At least one person was left lying on the ground. Based on the video, the victim in question tried to protect the first person who was pushed to the ground.
