The stabbing took place on Frederik van Eedenlaan in Delft, a city between The Hague and Rotterdam. Two seriously injured people were rushed to hospital, the third injured person died on the spot. According to a photographer from the ANP, there was a lot of police present. The street has been cordoned off and black screens have been installed. The Forensic Investigation Service of the Dutch police is also on site for an investigation.
Police are still investigating, but believe that difficulties in a relationship were the reason for the stabbing. The police are looking for witnesses.
