A 68-year-old man from Central Groningen will remain in jail for two weeks longer for involvement in producing drugs in Kiel-Windeweer, just across the border with the province of Groningen.
A 65-year-old woman from Central Groningen, who is also suspected of this, has not been brought before the examining magistrate. She remains a suspect.
On Sunday, the police found drug waste there. It turned out to be a drug lab at that location that had been in operation. A body was found a day later. It concerns the body of 38-year-old Tess Abels, who had no fixed place of residence or residence.
The Public Prosecution Service reports that further investigations are being conducted into whether there is a relationship between the finding of the drug lab and the body.
