Suspect in the murder of 9-year-old Gino was previously convicted of attempted manslaughter

Donny M., the man suspected of the murder of 9-year-old Gino in the Netherlands, was convicted seven years ago for attempted manslaughter. On 29 September 2015, the court found it proven that the man had thrown down a paving stone from a viaduct in Sittard on 16 April of that year. The stone landed right in front of the vehicle of a passing motorist, the court reported after reporting from De Limburger newspaper.
