The public prosecutor therefore finds the case no less serious. “The suspect has googled ‘What to do with inhalation toxic vapors’, and did know what was happening in his apartment.”
NH spoke just after the fire with different neighbors from the apartment building. They noticed that sometimes people were walking around in and around JK’s apartment. He was also often busy with garbage bags and would sometimes have stood a steam cart at the door of his apartment.
A neighbor then expressed her disappointment: “I don’t know if he did it, but it happened there and we were endangered.”
Two more suspects without a trace
Last week a second suspect was arrested in the case: A 42-year-old man from Uithoorn. According to the 74-year-old JK, that man approached him with the money. The OM is still looking for two other suspects. Investigation program BUreau NH paid attention to the case in the video below in March.
The next pro forma session from JK is scheduled for 1 September. Tomorrow the judge will determine whether he can free for the time being.
