Finland does not know how big a win is required on Saturday and whether that will be enough.

Susijengi greatly improved its competitive performance on Thursday, when it took the opening victory of the World Cup tournament. Cape Verde fell handsomely 100–77.
At no point was Finland’s victory threatened, and the point difference would have been much larger at the end. When Susigengi has to patch up its badly battered body part in these collection series matches.
Cape Verde played the final match of the first group just under a day earlier on the floor of the Okinawa arena. The head coach Lassi Tuovin led by Susijengi at the same time spent a leisurely recovery day.
– Of course it was visible on the field. In these tournaments, it is sometimes a pity and sometimes a good thing for some. We ran onto the field looking like they couldn’t keep up, captain Sasu Salin began.
– To put it cliché, these are harder to win than to lose. After three losses, we needed a bit of confidence.

Finland’s tournament continues on Saturday, when it faces Venezuela in the last match. Thursday’s result means that Susijengi is still fully involved in the fight for a place in next summer’s Olympic qualifying tournament.
The only problem is that no one really knows how big a win over Venezuela is needed.
– We are in such a situation that we have to take two victories. There is no other option. After that, someone will probably tell us whether we are in the Olympic qualification or not, having beaten Cape Verde by seven points Alexander Madsen underlined.
– It is pointless to start speculating. Yes, one of the coaches will tell you if it’s a body difference.
At least on Thursday, the team’s coaching management was just as excited as the players.
– We have no information either. Let’s play these two games and I think we have a really good boogie now. Everyone should just wait until Saturday to get back on the field, head coach Lassi Tuovi confessed.
The only thing that is certain is that Venezuela should fall with a fair point difference.
– The focus has always been only on the next game. Let’s take a win from Venezuela and see where we are, Madsen decided.
