Host Susanna Laine returns to the radio after a long break in Suomipop’s summer weekdays.
The last time Laine was heard on the radio was between 2012 and 2014, when she hosted a program on Suomipop called Popstudio with Sami Kuronen.
This summer Laine can be heard on weekdays from 12:00 to 16:00 with weekly changing summer stars.
During the summer, Laine will be a co-host Konsta Hietanen, Cristal Snow‘of, Shirly Karvinen and Sami Kuronen.
– It’s wonderful to be back on the radio, to be part of the listeners’ summer vibes and to get to work with different co-hosts. And fun to return to the studio with Sami Kuronen. I have wonderful memories from the days of Popstudio, we had a lot of fun together, Laine rejoices in the press release.
At the end of July, with Laine, Suomipop will also host the summer day Juho Keskitalo and as the third friend in the studio, a host is being sought through the open Oikotie campaign.
Suomipop keeps listeners company in the summer pastures from morning to night. On summer mornings on weekdays from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m., you will be heard Janne from Saariwhich keeps listeners up-to-date on the summer’s best vacation destinations and events.
On summer mornings, there is also a big bucket hunt. Every week, the Suomipop bucket is hidden in a city somewhere in Finland. By listening to the hints, you can track down the location of the bucket and win prizes for the summer’s hottest events.
The traffic program Menopaluu is also returning to the channel – with the familiar trio from last summer. Kristiina Komulainen, Manu Tuppurainen and Harri Moisio are the company of listeners on summer trips on Fridays and Sundays from mid-June to early August. There will be turps, entertainment and atmosphere from the road.
On Suomipop’s weeknights from Monday to Thursday, Juha Perälä plays songs for terraces, the beach and summer cottages.
