And this time it was the turn of William Coppolawho will also have a series based on his life and will be produced by Star + and will be called “William Coppola, the representative”. But before starting the recordings he already unleashed a scandal, because Susana Gimenez demanded not to be interpreted by Eugenia “La China” Suarez.
It was impossible that Susana Giménez will not appear in the series. And this generated her interest and her claims. According to her it transpired, there would have been a change in the actress who will charm the TV diva and now she would be played by Mary Fields. It happens that when Susana found out about this, she asked to be aware of who was going to play her and “how they were going to dress her,” said Coppola himself. But, in addition, she made another very special request: that the actress China Suarez was not in charge of interpreting her, since she did not like how she did it in the Sandro series. “I didn’t like it and I told her. I talked about it with China. I met her at the Jean Paul Gaultier event and I told her ‘Look, I didn’t like it’. The plot of the series will revolve around Coppola’s relationship with Diego Armando Maradona, as well as the link between him and some of the most important figures in football and entertainment. Coppola explained that he called all the people who will appear in the series, so that they are aware, such as Daniel Scioli, Karina Rabolini and Alejandra Pradón, among others. “Then they talk to people who are linked, but they all said yes, putting their logical conditions,” he revealed.
