IS the week of Survivors. Yes, because fiction with Linen Pillow airs tonight and tomorrow night (with the grand finale). A double date to end with a flourish the drama of the Arianna shipwrecked people recovered at sea after a year. And solve once and for all the mysteries related to how the events unfolded. The penultimate episode (21.25 hours) contains Hope And Victimstwo episodes that seem to begin to close stories – especially that of Luca (Jowls) -, but which instead open other mysteries about how part of the crew died.
Survivors: the previews of the penultimate episode
Protagonists of Hope I am Luca and his wife Sylvie (Stefi Celma), which remained in Italy while he was on board. Upon the return of Luca their relationships have frayed. The two have been apart for too long and too long. She meanwhile had started a relationship with Stephen (Fausto Maria Sciarappa), best friend of Luca. He, once he returned to Italy after the shipwreck, was too much traumatized from the events ofAriannawhere he found himself forced to make unspeakable choices (the main one, linked to the owner’s death in the boat Armando, Luca Biagini).
In this episode though Sylvie she is more understanding, she understands that, deep down, both have made mistakes due to hostile circumstances. Luca he is struck by it and their relationship seems to be reborn. They exchange a promise: always tell the truth. But keeping faith with the pact quickly turns out to be complicated. The survivors in fact begin to receive threats and, to defend themselves, they are once again forced to resort to deception. Luca included.
Meanwhile, in the flashback that tells what happened on theAriannayou see Lorenzo And Gabriel take command of the boat and make choices cynical and violent. Lorenzo (Giacomo Giorgio) is an unscrupulous, shady, taciturn and diffident man. He has recently been released from prison. Gabriel (Alessio Vassallo) is the brilliant and extroverted ship’s doctor who turns out to have lost his life. He is the son of Anita (Pia Lanciotti), a stubborn policewoman who, in Italy, finds herself investigating the mysteries ofArianna.
The escape after the threats
In the second episode of tonight, Victims you see increase threats against the castaways. Luca to save himself he tries to escape, and with an excuse he wants to take his family to the mountains. The story of Tano (Vincenzo Ferrera) a deeply religious shipyard worker, to whom life has reserved the inconsolable pain of losing his son Simone. Shocked to the point of completely losing control, now he finally seems to come to his senses: he manages to accept Simone’s death and seems ready to take on his responsibilities for him.
In the flashback by boat, they can be seen again Gabriel And Lorenzo in command. But their way of doing it is exaggerated, ruthless, it puts discord among the castaways. The survivors then decide to return control of the boat to Luca. Then the twist: a short distance from Ariadne, a boat is sighted. The castaways scream for joy, but the closer the boat gets, the more their enthusiasm dies out.
The fiction that has disappointed
After a discreet launch, Survivorsin the course of the various episodes, it has settled on a share that fluctuates around 15% (approximately two and a half million viewers). Little compared to expectations. Probably for this the Rai has decided to bring the final episode forward to tomorrow, Tuesday 1 November. And for this it is likely that there will not be a second season.
