With absolute protagonist Linen Pillownow king of fiction, Survivors follows the story of a group of survivors of a shipwreck. The first episode of tonight, Adriftstarts with a flashback: after the storm, the survivors on the boat are struggling with a flaw to repair. The effort is great, the difficulties are enormous. Between fear and anxiety, fierce conflicts explode. The skipper Luca (Linen Pillow) tries to manage the situation. The ship’s doctor Gabriel (Alessio Vassallo) is dead. His wife Marta is alive instead (Camilla Semino Favro). Nino (Luca Castellano) is more and more upset. He is the son of Giulia (Barbora Bobulova), a very famous actress, who started as a testimonial, together with her husband Frank (Florian Fitz). Introverted and shady, on the other hand, Nino is facing to the cruel reality of being an orphan.
Then the episode returns to the present: Lea (Adèle Wismes), the owner’s young companion Armando Leone (Luca Biagini), who had organized the trip in memory of his daughter Arianna, who ended up with a tumor, in Genoa he sees again the sister Adele. But the joy soon makes way for old tensions that have never subsided between the two. Nino he is increasingly obsessed with his ghosts. Alone Luca manages to stand beside him.
Meanwhile it develops the complex story from Anita, rough policewoman who has the task of investigating the shipwreck. She is too involved in the accident on that boat, because she was on board his son Gabriele, ship’s doctor, who died. The version told by the survivors does not convince her, she stubbornly thinks that the shipwreck hides a mystery that she absolutely wants to solve, even at the cost of investigating alone. Survivors: the return to normal is a shock
Even the second episode tonight, Foreigners, begins with a flashback. The survivors find in the sea a woman who has lost her memory, at least she claims not to remember anything. A fiction created by students of the Rai Writing School
Survivorsnew Rai fiction in 12 episodes, has a beautiful creative origin. In fact, it was born from an idea of four students of the Master of Serial Writing organized by Rai Fiction with the Italian Center for Higher Studies for Training and Updating in radio and television journalism in Perugiawith the support ofAudiovisual Producers Association (Apa). The four boys (Sofia Bruschetta, Ivano Fachin, Giovanni Galassi, Tommaso Matano) were followed, in the editorial phase, by headwriter Viola Rispoli and by the screenwriter Massimo Bacchini.
Excellent feedback from first episode aired last week: conquered the 19.6% share (over three million and six hundred spectators). Excellent also because the competitor was (and is also tonight) the “battleship” of Gf Vip on Channel 5.
