The positive image of the head of the Buenos Aires Government, Horacio Rodriguez Larretadoubles that of the vice president Cristina Fernandez Kirchner, according to a survey carried out during the month of September by the consultancy Argentina’s opinion.
Rodriguez Larreta has a 16% “Very positive” image and a 36% “Somewhat positive”, totaling a 52%while Cristina Kirchner has a 16% “Very positive” image and another 10% “Somewhat positive”, adding a 26%, exactly half that of the porteñotop contender in Together for Change to compete for the presidency of the Nation in 2023.

The senator of the Radical Civic Union for the city of Buenos Aires, and eventual contender to replace Rodríguez Larreta in Uspallata (headquarters of the Buenos Aires government), has a 49% positive image, which is made up of 13% “Very positive” and 36% “Somewhat positive”, and almost 20% undecided, placing it as one of the leading exponents of the opposition.
Among the hard-line opponents, there is a major flood of positive image in the former president Mauricio Macriwith a “Very positive” image of 18%, and a “Somewhat positive” image of 28%, which complete 46%, and place him 13 points above the 33% held by the liberal candidate Javier Milei, with 13% “Very positive” and 20% “Somewhat positive”. The greatest rejection among the ruling party is President Alberto Fernández, with 74%. She is followed by Vice President Cristina Kirchner with a 58% “Very negative” image, plus 12% “Somewhat negative”, completing 70%. Same percentage as the governor of Buenos Aires, with 54% absolute rejection, and another 16% moderate rejection.
Again, Sergio Massa is favored as the one who concerts the least rejectionwith 64%, within which 23% is of moderate rejection, and 41% hard rejection: the brand of anti-Peronism in the last elections. Numbers that today position him as the main candidate in the Frente de Todos, in the tough fight against the ruling party to retain the government in 2023.
