Rock am Ring 2025 continues to surprise: After the first Secret Act on Friday afternoon, the second “very special guest” took over the Utopia Stage at 3 p.m. Here, too, the spectators had to be patient because the festival organizers kept tight.

Rock am Ring: The second Secret Act also picks up the spectators

Now it is clear: Roy Bianco & Diebbrunzati Boys Band are the second secret opener of the day – much to the delight of the spectators, who have patiently waited for the second Secret Act. The one -hour performance from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. fits seamlessly to the start of this festival Friday.

The tension in front of the stage was already noticeable when the Infield filled around twelve o’clock – many visitors had deliberately secured a place in front of the main stage at an early stage. Because especially for the 40th anniversary, Rock am Ring does not want to be ripped off when it comes to the Secret Acts.

Now it really starts: immediately afterwards – at 4:30 p.m. – Knocked Loose is on the program. Rock am Ring also announced this band shortly before the festival. The group from Kentucky brings its hardcore punk to the stage and thus ensures a highlight on Friday afternoon.

Which bands still play on Friday?

Later in the evening appearances by the nerves, tribulation, soft play, Weezer, A Day to Remember, Olli Schulz, Tocotronic, The Prodigy and Biffy Clyro. Headliner of the day is Bring Me the Horizon. For many, the visually exciting show with singer Oli Sykes is one of the most eagerly awaited gigs of the weekend.

Rock am Ring is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year. There was also an upgrade for the site for the birthday. The organizers built a new, fourth stage and set up LED towers. The south entrance was moved to the side, so that there is now more space to celebrate. MusikExpress is there for you all weekend – and reports live about everything you cannot miss.
