Judge Sini Rainio is surprised today in the most beautiful home in Finland. He has already seen a lot for his job, but now something completely new is coming.
Sini does her day job numerous times as an architect for an award-winning architectural firm. However, he is not the only one in the trio to face an unusual entity for the first time in his career. Also an interior designer Tero Pennanen has never entered a floating cottage before.

In South Karelia, the cottage ferry in the home port of Imatra is not a houseboat in the true sense of the word, but a cottage.
– I’m going speechless! I have never seen such a combination before – a combination of a boat and a cabin, Sini wonders as he tours the destination.
There is not much to revolve around, as there are only 36 squares. There is also a terrace at the front and back.

Sini is particularly fond of the cozy back terrace and the atmospheric sauna.
– What scenery from the sauna! Through the glass door you can see whatever landscape you choose, Sini refers to the basic idea of a floating cottage, that is, that it can be moved in many places.
The cottage flies in the Saimaa watershed exactly where the owners Tanja and Marko Luukkonen with their families want. The pace alone doesn’t stop at a break – the speed is 4-6 kilometers per hour – but the ferry isn’t meant to be a speedboat.
