The application published by Popeda’s drummer Kari “Lacu” Lahtinen also has a bit of humor.

Popeda’s lineup seems to be changing even more. The group performed its last concert at the Ratina Stadium on Saturday, September 2. The group will no longer continue with the same line-up, because its front image Pate Mustajärvi67, announced last fall that he was leaving the band.
Now the drummer in Popeda since 2008 Kari “Lacu” Lahtinen53, announces Facebook– account of having moved to the job search market
The drummer says in his publication, among other things, that he is really looking for a band that has not been founded recently.
– On offer is a slightly older, lazy, middle-aged rock drummer. A drunkard, but only with the intention of getting drunk and after work. In the main, I hit way too hard – this can then be discussed over a cup of coffee, if we can reach an agreement, Lahtinen begins his publication.
He doesn’t mention a word about Popeda in his application, but hints at the band by saying that he was in a band for 15 years.
– Finished even bigger gigs with honor. A few smaller ones too. The CV is fine, but I’m not going to start namedropping (in Finnish, mentioning someone by name) other than that I’m the keyboardist of Rangaistus-orkester.
– In my opinion, it might not be the muluku’s fault, because I played in the previous orchestra for a little over 15 years, in the previous one for six, he continues.
Finally, he mentions that his special skills include unashamedly playing, depending on the day.
Lahtinen’s public application has received a lot of praise in the post’s comment field. Many believe that a drummer will surely find work with his long experience.
The release in question is not the drummer’s first since the band’s last gig. The day after the last performance of Popeda, Lahtinen published a touching Instagram post, in which he wistfully recalled the past years.
– Almost as empty feeling as in the stadium. More than 15 years in the driver’s seat, a little over 1000 gigs. You could have spent that time worse. In the words of the Undersecretary of State…From here to now, he wrote.
With the last gig, Mustajärvi moved on to a solo career, and a new song was released from him Hi Mom on Friday, September 8. In addition, he announced on September 4 that he plans to publish a book about the last Popeda summer next year, based on diary and calendar entries, from the decision to quit to the Ratina Stadium concert.
