Venue: An artificial pitch in a corner of the huge FIFA fan zone in Doha. In the evenings, supporters from all over the world watch big screens here and cheer on their favorite country at the World Cup for the professional footballers. Now it’s the turn of the fan teams. Mostly middle-aged men have to reach the last eight under the burning sun. No air conditioning here to please players and supporters.
