Support campaign for parents deceased Daan achieves its goal
On January 9, 2023, 14-year-old Daan from Waregem took his own life. According to his parents, this was due to frequent bullying at school. At the request of the family, the public prosecutor’s office has started an investigation to determine whether the bullying is actually related to Daan’s death. To support the parents financially, friends and family started crowdfunding. The goal of 15,000 euros was reached today. The money from the action will be used to pay for funeral expenses and attorney’s fees.
