Supplier of murder weapon from stabbing in Oostkamp released

A reconstruction of the facts took place at the end of April. The 19-year-old perpetrator then had to show how he stabbed Milan with a bayonet on September 24, 2021. That weapon was brought to the perpetrator’s birthday party that night by a friend. He later took the weapon with him again to hide it in his room, after which the police found it during a search. The young man then ended up in jail.

On the reconstruction, the weapons supplier also had to tell his version of the facts. After the reconstruction, the council chamber decided on the further arrest. The man was released, but must remain available for further investigation.

The investigating judge decided on Friday to also release the other alleged co-perpetrator under conditions.
