Supermarket ALDI on the Leidsewallen has moved and opens this day in Palenstein

For years we have been doing our shopping at ALDI on the Leidsewallen. A reasonably small supermarket with a few parking spaces in front of the door. This will change from Friday 25 February, when the new branch will open in Stadskwartier Palenstein.

Fresh apple pie for 1.50 euros and a real food truck is available from 08.00. There we can taste coffee, tea, sandwiches and wraps, freshly prepared in the mini kitchen in the food truck.

More space and open on Sundays

In contrast to the branch on Leidsewallen, the new store is a lot bigger. Upon entering, you will immediately encounter the extensive fruit and vegetable department. You can get freshly baked rolls from the bread department and cut your own bread with the handy slicer. The paths are a lot wider and there is more space at the cash registers than before.

You will simply run into your favorite ALDI employee from the previous branch in the new store, because all the staff will move with them. You can now easily park in front of the door and, also good to know, this supermarket is open on Sundays as standard. To celebrate the opening there are all kinds of attractive opening offers.
