The race had no history, Bautista dominated from the first meter digging a furrow gradually bigger and bigger with the pursuers, with Razgatlioglu opening the group. Rea, after a tiring start, moved up from sixth to second position, while the Turkish rider from Yamaha was losing ground. Unleashed the American Gerloff, back on the podium after 14 months (he was second in Donington in July 2021). Michael Ruben Rinaldi also did well, fourth with the other official Ducati.
