About 70 percent of the players in the NFL, the professional series of the sport, are African-American. However, their path to the most prestigious playmaker’s lot has traditionally been rocky.
However, equality has crept up even to the top of the sport. This year’s Super Bowl will be the first in which both teams’ starting playmakers, the Chiefs, will start Patrick Mahomes and the Eagles Jalen Hurtsare black.
Among them, Mahomes has just been voted the league’s most valuable player once again, but the offensive line led by Hurts is rolling like a tank.
Mahomes has assured about an hour before kickoff that his injured ankle is completely ready to play.
The final will also see two brothers meeting on the field for the first time. Jason and Travis Kelce have both already won one Super Bowl, so their Donna-his mother can only focus on enjoying the game events.
