Finnish defender Jani Hakanpää fought in last night’s NHL round.
The situation started when Hakanpää, representing the Dallas Stars, drew the Philadelphia Flyers Travis Konecny it’s going to be neck and neck. Flyers Nick Seeler didn’t like the trick, but dropped his gloves.
In a short fight, Hakanpää was left with a lower nail. Seeler received several blows when the Finnish pack tried to get out of the situation by flailing with his left hand.
Seeler knocked the two-meter Hakanpää onto the ice. The judges came to separate the duo.

Hakanpää received a two-minute penalty for knocking down Konecny and a five-minute penalty for violence. Seeler was whistled for 2+5+10 minutes because he started grinding.
Stars won the match in overtime 5–4.
