Sunny spring weather continues: ‘I don’t expect rain for the time being’

Anyone who is free this Easter Monday can enjoy a wonderful day. It is getting warm and the sun is shining brightly. And Diana Woei had more good news on Monday morning. This sunny weather will continue for the time being.

Diana spoke on the radio program ‘Weekend!’ on Omroep Brabant of beautiful spring weather. “We have a lot of sunshine again this Monday,” she said. “There were some high veil clouds in the morning. That is a difference with Sunday, but that should not spoil the fun. The sun is not bothered by those clouds, it is shining brightly.”

Temperatures rise rapidly as the sun moves higher in the sky. “Last night it froze slightly on the ground in some places, but Monday afternoon it will be warm, with 20 or 21 degrees. There is little wind.”

After Easter, the afternoon temperature drops very gradually. “Tuesday it will be about 20 degrees, with a little more wind from the east. Force three, possibly four in the afternoon. As a result, it is slightly less warm than this Monday. Anyway, in the sun and out of the wind it is then still lovely spring weather. There are some more clouds to see, but the sun comes through well.”

According to Diana, Wednesday will be a bit of the same story. “With some thicker clouds, but I expect it to remain as good as dry. The temperature will then gradually drop in the afternoon. But then there is still 18 or 19 degrees on the thermometer.”

Thursday and Friday it will be a maximum of 16 or 17 degrees. “Those are the lowest temperatures this week. But that’s still quite high for the time of year,” Diana emphasized on the radio. “Normally it should be about 14 degrees at this time of year. And the sun is shining brightly. There are some veil clouds, the sky will not be completely clear blue. But I don’t expect rain for the time being.”
