The start of summer time this year is getting a bit of wintery: wet snow is on the way. Temperatures will drop next week, which could bring hail and some white precipitation.
We soon get used to the beautiful weather of the past few days. But that highest temperature of eighteen degrees on Thursday is not a permanent one. It would also be weird, end of March. According to the famous long-term average, the maximum temperature should be about ten degrees. And so it will be.
This concludes a super sunny month. “We are going to achieve the two hundred hours of sunshine in any case, so we have the record for the ‘most sunny month of March ever’,” said weatherman Roland van der Zwaag. “And then it’s not surprising that the month ends with some cold overhead air that can bring some hail or sleet.”
Van der Zwaag expects that around his birthday on March 31. “Then you get temperatures of ten degrees during the day and a little frost at night. But guys, March stirs its tail and April does what it wants. So it is best to happen around the turn of the month,” said weatherman Roland van der Zwaag.
