It’s getting hot in the capital!
According to the German Weather Service (DWD), cloud fields will appear in the sky at times on Monday, but it will mostly be sunny. Rain is not expected – with highs between 26 and 30 degrees. It stays clear at night, later the cloud cover thickens. Furthermore, it remains dry. It cools down to between 12 and 17 degrees.
High forest fire risk
According to the Ministry for Agriculture, Environment and Climate Protection, the forest fire danger level in northern and eastern Brandenburg is two and is therefore low. In the southern half there is a warning level of three and therefore a medium risk of forest fires. The districts with warning level three include Oberspreewald-Lausitz, Elbe-Elster, Havelland and Dahme-Spreewald.
The DWD provides the data. Air temperature, relative humidity, wind speed and the precipitation rate are included in the calculation. According to experts, most fires in the forest are caused by human activity.
