Summary: Blauw-Wit concedes a win against KZ in the final minute

In the first round of the Korfbal League, Blauw-Wit and KZ played a draw against each other. After a very entertaining North Holland get-together, the final score of 23-23 was finally on the scoreboard in Amsterdam.

The two teams played each other last week. On the final day of the Theo Korporal Spectacle, Blauw-Wit lost 22-19. Today it was another exciting match between the two teams. The Amsterdam formation started the game strongly and was the first to take the lead. Blauw-Wit held on to this lead until the break and went to the changing rooms with a score of 14-11.

In the second half, Blauw-Wit became more sloppy and KZ managed to come back into the game. Alwin Out got it on his hips with the Zaankanters in the second company and thanks to seven goals from him, KZ came alongside. With one minute to go and with a score of 22-22, Randell van der Steen used a penalty on behalf of Blauw-Wit. The team from Amsterdam seemed to hold onto the lead, but with fifteen seconds left on the clock, Out was again accurate and it was a draw: 23-23.
