Bakis balanced the match against Albacete in the last breath
Eder Sarabia praised the competitiveness of his players at a press conference
A penalty goal, executed by Bakis in the 92nd minute, gave a meritorious point in Carlos Belmonte, to Eder Sarabia’s Andorra, who played almost seventy minutes with one less player due to the expulsion of Carlos Martínez.
The two consecutive defeats of the white team conditioned a clash premiere that was marked by the waterspout that fell in Albacete lands and that complicated the combined game of both squads.
Albacete proposed more intensity from the start, high pressure and tried to approach the visiting area, although it was difficult to do so.
A shot on goal that crashed into the side of the net by Lizoain (min. 14) and a placed shot by Fuster from the edge, which the Andorran goalkeeper blocked twice, were the only dangerous approaches at the start.
Fuster’s was the prelude to the action that determined the course of the clash, since Carlos Martínez went too far on the brakes in a divided ball with Álvaro Rodríguez and the referee, Milla Alvéndiz, showed him a direct red card (minute 26).
Staying with ten did not seem to affect the team led by Eder Sarabiabecause he kept to his tactical and technical order, although he was able to see how the first goal was conceded on a chance by Fuster in the 39th minute in which the goalkeeper Lizoain prevented the scoreboard from moving.
After the break, the harassment and demolition of the local team continued until in the 53rd minute they enjoyed a controversial penalty from Diego Alende to Duba. Maikel Mesa converted the maximum penalty.
From there, there was a timid dominance of Rubén Albés’ team which, paradoxically, was overtaken from the 70th minute by Andorra despite playing with numerical inferiority.
The pitcher went so far into the fountain that it ended up breaking, in an action after a corner kick in which Álvaro Rodríguez touched the ball with his hand after 90 minutes. That caused the penalty and Bakis’s equalizer in the 92nd minute.
The local team was left very touched and turned to try to win, although, in a counterattack, the same Turkish footballer had a one-on-one with Bernabé that he wasted when he could have given victory to his team.
