Two not very positive streaks were measured, between a local team that had gone three games without winning and a visiting team that had accumulated four league dates without having won, so it was a duel of ‘needy’ for adding three points in one go. The one that started the match the best was the insular squad, collecting two clear chances in the first five minutes. In the first, Bernabé repelled Sandro’s shot, and in the next it was Jonathan Viera who had a free kick in the area that sent the clouds into the clouds.
However, The one who scored first was Albacete in a counterattack created by Fusterwho put a long ball behind the yellow defense, where Duba appeared to put his foot between the central defenders and, before the astonished Álex Vallés came out, beat him low (minute 13).
The goal seemed to take the pressure off the Albacete team and affect Las Palmas more, which began to suffer to stop players like Fuster, Julio Alonso and Duba on counterattacks. In one of those actions, in the 26th minute, the second goal for White did not arrive because Duba ran into the post with another through ball.in this case of Maikel Mesa, nor could Higinio score in the rejection.
The same protagonist enjoyed another opportunity, in the 37th minute, although his headerafter Julio Alonso’s measured cross from the left side, he came out from the end line.
The first half ended in the same way that it passed, with an Albacete defended with the lines very close together and swinging correctly, and with an insular team dominating, although without depth. At the dawn of the second act, the team led by García Pimienta continued to amass possessionwhile Rubén Albés’ group awaits its opportunity with a very defined defensive structure.
In the umpteenth white counterattack, they were on the verge of reaching 2-0, but Higinio’s Vaseline attempt was aborted by the visiting goalkeeper with a successful stretch to one hand (min.51).
The Albacete continued generating danger in a multitude of arrivals that did not culminate, although Las Palmas had a dangerous approach, in the 65th minute, in which Sandro tried Bernabé’s gloves. The ball ended up in a corner kick and there Sidnei prevailed by high to tie the game.
Fuster, in a counterattack orchestrated by him, which Julio Alonso returned to him, sent the ball high and deflected when the stands were almost singing the tie. But just like in the first half, the one he scored was the one he least looked like he was going to do. Las Palmas achieved the one to two after a rejection of the white defense, after a corner, which Loiodice commanded the bottom of the meshes with a howitzer (min.74).
Fuster had it in his boots in the final stretch after a bad clearance from Vallés that Fuster could not hole out because a center-back intervened five minutes from reaching the end of regulation time. In the end, although the local team turned upside down, The Canarian team unfairly added three points that place it in second place in the tablein direct ascent, while Albacete sees how Cartagena remains two points behind its sixth place.
