The traditional Lichtjesavond in Bergen has attracted a large audience. The nice weather in the evening made for a successful 2022 edition. And that was also allowed after two years of absence due to corona.
Lichtjesavond is centered around the Ruin Church and the surrounding streets. The streetlights are extinguished and the light has to come from candles in gardens and streets. There was still before any fear if there was still enthusiasm to participate among residents, but turned out to be ‘light’ enough.
