The 38th Eindhoven Marathon was one of perfect running weather, thick drops of sweat and muscular calves. 25,000 participants showed up at the start in the Eindhoven city center on Sunday and ran until they dropped.
They all gave their utmost to get to the finish in the fastest possible time. The emotional release was huge for some, others crossed the finish line with a big smile.
