Horror scenes on Thursday afternoon in Friedrichshain. A 34-year-old armed with a knife broke into several apartments!
As the police announced on Friday, the 34-year-old climbed from the roof of an apartment building on Scharnweberstrasse, where he lived, to the roof of a house on Colbestrasse.
From there he jumped about four meters down onto a balcony on the 6th floor.

He tried to open the balcony door there by force. When the 51-year-old apartment owner noticed this, he opened the balcony door and the intruder stormed through the apartment to the apartment door and out into the stairwell.
On the floor below, the man kicked a door several times and worked on it with a knife until he was able to enter the apartment. He also stormed through this briefly and then ran out of the apartment building, the police said.
Startled by the noise in the house, several neighbors called the police. They arrested the attacker in front of his apartment. According to BZ information, a special task force was also deployed.

The 34-year-old injured his upper body during his 4-meter jump onto the balcony. He came to a hospital. Before that he blew 1.25 per mille.
