Three years after their debut ATHENA, Sudan Archives reported back in spring 2022. “Home Maker” was the name of the new single by Brittney Denise Parks, the real name of the Ohio-born, Los Angeles-based musician. In May she followed up with “Selfish Soul”. Now she has announced a tour that will also take her to Germany and Austria, presented by Musikexpress. Here are the dates.

In the meantime, Sudan Archives has also announced a new album: NATURAL BROWN PROM QUEEN, as it is called, is to be released on September 9, 2022.
ATHENA followed two EPs back then. ME author Julia Lorenz gave the record five out of six stars and called the sound “radiantly melodic longing music between R’n’B, Sudanese folk and the best school of beat making.”
