Sevening at 9.25pm on Rai 1 the second episode of Such and such 2024. As always, Carlo Conti is hosting it, supported by the judges Loretta Goggi, Cristiano Malgioglio and Giorgio Panariello, to whom he is added the fourth judge special. That is, an impersonator who steps into the shoes of the character played and helps decide the final ranking.

As per formatthe protagonists of the new event are 10 ordinary people who try their hand at imitating famous singers. They must look like you in every way. Not only on a vocal level, therefore, but also in proxemics, personality and physical appearance. With regards to hair and make-up, they rely on the experience of Rai’s workers. However, Unlike Such and such showmake-up artists intervene less. That is, a certain basic similarity is necessary.
Once the dancing begins, they perform one at a time. The performance passes to the jury’s scrutiny, which initially expresses an opinion. At the end of the episode, however, the judgment will be transformed into a vote from 1 to 10.
The competitor who climbs the rankings goes directly to the final. The final, scheduled for Saturday 3 February, will see the winners of the three previous episodes clash. At the end of the race the champion will be decided Such and such 2024.
Going into the merits of second episode, the previews are rather sparse. In fact, maximum confidentiality applies to the names of competitors. However, Carlo Conti provided the list of imitations. Taking to the stage will be (the aspiring lookalikes of): Aretha Franklin, Christina Aguilera, Dua Lipa, Fabrizio De André, Gianni Morandi, Iva Zanicchi, James Blunt, Spice Girls, Max Pezzali and Vasco Rossi.

The return of Francesco Paolantoni and Gabriele Cirilli
The spin off of Such as show proposes its original formula almost entirely. In addition to the jury and the imitators, The cast also features a couple who are now a permanent presence. That composed by Gabriele Cirilli and Francesco Paolantoni. Cirilli has been part of the program since the first edition, except for a break between 2018 and 2019. Paolantoni, however, participated as a competitor in 2020.
Their hilarious contribution was quite evident and Carlo Conti decided to focus on the talent of both, making them compete as a couple. Here it is in 2022 they are enlisted in the official cast and every week they delight viewers with unlikely imitations. In their performances not only the physical resemblance is missing, but above all the vocal one. Nonetheless represent the funniest moment of the program. Thanks to the mutual desire to get involved and know how to put on a show.
Well the public also finds them at Such and such. In the first episode they participated in the challenge the least worse. Both put themselves in the shoes of Ivana Spagna on the notes of Easy lady (Cirilli) and of Call me (Paolantoni). At the end of the performance, they were judged by… Ivana Spagna! Well yes, the singer entered the studio by surprise and decided who did it the least worse: ex aequo, it goes without saying!

Such and such 2024the vocal coaches and the contestants of the first episode
As with the original version, also to Such and such the competitors avail themselves of the help of vocal coaches. In the days preceding the race, each of them is followed by the team of professionals who have been an essential part of the program since 2012. They are part of it Matteo Becucci, Maria Grazia Fontana, Dada Loi and Antonio Mezzancella. To these is added Emanuela Aureli, in the role of actor coach. The songs are arranged by Maestro Pinuccio Pirazzoli. The choreography, however, is entrusted to Fabrizio Mainini.
Waiting to discover the competitors competing tonight, the first appointment saw several (lookalikes of) Italian and international artists take to the stage. At the bottom of the standings was Tony Hadley (Virginio Mussato) with 29 points. In ninth place Annalisa (Sara Manea) with 36, while Jovanotti (Roberto Tarantini) stopped in eighth with 37.
Seventh place for The Beach Boys (No claims) with 38, sixth for Rihanna (Yoly Garcia) with 42. Fifth Gigi D’Alessio (Vincenzo Learnato) with 50 and fourth for Madame (Giulia Margutta) with 58.
The podium was conquered by Gaetano Curreri (Rinaldo Spinozzi) with 59 points. Michele Bravi (Kevin Pelledoro) scored 64 points and in first place Édith Piaf (Clelia Cicero) with 67 points. She dedicated the victory to her husband Julio and performed to the tune of La vie en rose.
