Second division soccer team Arminia Bielefeld has apparently found a new coach. After the dismissal of Uli Forte, Daniel Scherning takes over the office. He comes from VfL Osnabrück.
In the morning, the club wants to officially comment on the coaching staff, a spokesman for the club told WDR. According to kicker information, Daniel Scherning is to lead the first training session on Thursday morning (08/18/2022).
Scherning said goodbye to the VfL Osnabrück players on Wednesday afternoon. The coach, who switched from SC Paderborn 07 to Bremer Brücke in 2021, still had a contract with the third division team until June 2023.

The new coach will make his debut at Arminia on Sunday when the troubled second division side visit FC Heidenheim. Bielefeld dismissed Uli Forte as coach on Wednesday – after four defeats in the first four games of the season.
