Successor Andries Jonker is delayed; Telstar hopes for white smoke soon

At the beginning of May, trainer Andries Jonker announced that he was going to leave Telstar. Almost a month later, no replacement has been appointed by the club. “I expect that within two weeks it will be hit,” says interim director Jakob Klompien.

A technical committee has been set up by the football club. They are in the process of appointing the new trainer. “We have made a shortlist and are now having discussions. I will not comment on names. We hope to present a new trainer in two to three weeks,” said TC member Chris B. van der Zwan.

The technical committee also includes Radi el Kaddouri, Ton Zwart and Roderik van Seumeren.

Departure Andries Jonker

The departure of Andries Jonker did not sit well with everyone within the football club. Last week there was a meeting between the technical committee and Jonker, but that did not lead to anything. The departure of the trainer is final.
