At the second attempt, second division soccer team Hertha BSC managed to start training on the field.
On Tuesday morning, coach Pal Dardai’s professionals were able to complete the first session of the season on Schenckendorffplatz in the Olympic Park.
In front of their fans, the Hertha professionals did running exercises and content with the ball.
On Monday afternoon, a severe storm prevented outdoor training.
Instead, strength and athletic training was on the program for the players indoors at the training ground.
Hertha head coach Dardai asks his squad to train twice a day until Friday.
One practice session per day is scheduled at the weekend, and the first test match against Oberliga club RSV Eintracht Stahnsdorf will follow on Sunday afternoon (4 p.m.).
