Successful Spots on West: “We had to order extra drinks”

Every year at the beginning of July, theater enthusiasts come to Westouter to play and watch theater at a unique location. “Both familiar and new faces fill the often sold-out halls,” says director Joke Quaghebeur.

21 years

The ticket sales in advance were already a hit. But also on Saturday itself – thanks to the beautiful weather – many people showed up.

“While cleaning up, we wanted to refill the fridges for the last day of the festival. To our surprise, we had already used up our drink supply. In 21 years of Spots op West, that has never happened,” says Sofie Pattyn, driving force behind the festival.

The next edition will take place from 4 to 7 July 2024.
