The exclusion and extermination of the Jews was not a supervening alienation, but the center of Third Reich politics. As Holocaust expert Peter Longerich points out, eliminating Jews from German society was the instrument to progressively make the different vital areas of National Socialist aspirations a reality. through that dehumanization policy and persecution, moral criteria were subverted. In just a handful of years, the foundations of what seemed to be established values were disrupted. What was good or bad, right or intolerable.
