Young FC Volendam has won with the smallest difference in the second division against Rijnsburgse Boys tonight. In Volendam it was 1-0 thanks to a late goal by substitute Younes Taha.
It took a long time before the match got underway in the Kras Stadium. The biggest chance in the first half on behalf of the home team was for Koen Bloemmestijn. However, the striker found goalkeeper Zonneveld from Rijnsburgse Boys on his way.
In the second half, Jong FC Volendam had to wait for the lead, which finally came twelve minutes before the end. Substitute Taha received the ball in the penalty area after a cracked shot at his feet. The 19-year-old midfielder then finished off coolly. After the 1-0, the guests from South Holland were no longer in their power to create great opportunities.
