The meetings between andhe President of the Government and the leader of the opposition on the day of the Christmas lottery are not new. In 2006, Zapatero and Rajoy met and the negotiation with ETA was the central topic of the conversation. Seventeen years later, Spanish politics seems frozen. On one side of the ring a ZP 2.0 and on the other a Galician natural successor to another Galician, Rajoy, talking about similar things and with a level of tension that, as then, seems like it could not be higher.
