Style tips to conquer with romantic messages

Dtell me how you say goodbye, and I’ll tell you who you are. In the world of digital messaging, we know, what matters is synthesis. But can we ever give up style when we want to go out and leave our mark?

I’m not saying it’s useful when we’re agreeing a shopping list with someone, but it certainly has its weight when we have a conversation in which it seems like every word needs to be weighed. In short, when the recipient interests us.

First point: Do we agree that emojis over 40 should be avoided? There is no expression on those little yellow faces that can give our greetings the wow effect we would like.

George Clooney true boomer: «TikTok? I don't even know what it is.

Personally, when I receive them, I spend my time looking for the glasses to at least decipher the curve of the mouth. The meaning of some symbols still remains a mystery and I bet they were created specifically to allow those who use them not to say anything.

Second point: just sign with the initial of the episode name! I don’t know what isn’t clear about the fact that a similar method worked when the letter was made of paper and you didn’t have to leave any concrete traces of yourself. In short, it was ok for the Viscount of Valmont, not for digital messaging where our identity can be reconstructed through photos, profiles and so on.

Third point: “lol” is the acronym for “lot of laughs”. Don’t use it to summarize the Anglo-Saxon expression “lot of love”, that is, “with lots of love”, if you don’t want to get into trouble. And more generally, express yourself in your own language if you don’t master another.

Fourth point: quotes are the least romantic thing in the world. I understand that it is often not easy to find the words, but using those of someone else, and perhaps reporting the name in brackets to underline the learned reference, is poor.

And we come to the fifth point, which is the essential: once the previous points have been removed, there is nothing else that should be avoided and not even anything that should be done by force. The most overblown advice in the world, “be yourself”, really applies here. So don’t act like a freak, be kind and, above all, put your heart into it (in the center of your chest, a little to the left, ed).
