Genesis presented the prototype X Speedium coupé at the New York show. A sporty-looking car that explores possible design applications for next-generation models. As this is an exhibition concept, no data on performance and technical content have been disclosed and no photos of the cockpit have been published. The South Korean brand (owned by Hyundai) continues its development path towards zero-emission and increasingly sophisticated mobility, trying to meet and satisfy the needs of a demanding clientele.

Test Bench

X Speedium coupé is an experimental model created to preview what could be the stylistic course that will define next generation vehicles. All united by one constant: electrification. The Speedium, in fact, was developed with this need in mind: the front grille is full and the sophisticated style is in line with the futuristic tone of the car. Among the most evident details, the LEDs that enrich the front and rear glance. The side cut is instead very slender, clean and gives a sporty but elegant image. The coupé bodywork seems to suggest interesting performances (in line with the image) without neglecting comfort, bringing it closer, in terms of concept and intentions, to a GT. As mentioned, the X Speedium is to be contextualized in an experimentation program that will allow Genesis to anticipate its stylistic contents in view of the complete energy transition. But in this regard, no details on the propulsive scheme have been communicated at the moment.
