Midfielder Wataru Endo from the first German group opponent Japan is ready for the World Cup in Qatar.
The captain of VfB Stuttgart suffered a concussion in a collision in the Bundesliga game against Hertha BSC (2-1) and then spent a night in the hospital. Against Bayer Leverkusen (0:2) he was missing the Swabians.
Endo has now recovered well, was examined again this Monday and can travel to his national team, VfB said. Japan will face Germany in the opening match of Group E on November 23rd.
