Pinoké’s hockey players have made it to the final. In the semi-finals, the Amstelveners, who are playing the play-offs for the national title for the first time, were already done with Amsterdam in two games. This afternoon, coach Jesse Mahieu’s team won 3-0 in the Wagener Stadium.
On Thursday, Pinoké managed to maneuver himself into pole position for the final. The away match in Amsterdam was won after a 2-2 draw on penalties. Pinoké was then able to finish the job at home. In a fascinating duel, Pinoké stepped off the field 3-0 in its own Wagener stadium. Miles Bukkens and two goals from Sebastien Dockier gave Pinoké the first place in the final in history.
Bloemendaal
The Bloemendaal hockey players have been sentenced to play a deciding game for a place in the final. On Thursday, the EHL winner won 3-0 on a visit to HGC, but today went wrong at home. HGC showed resilience and was too strong with 3-1. As a result, the decision will be made in Wassenaar tomorrow. The winner then plays against Pinoké in the final.
