“Stuffing” of Kiev, Psaki’s ornateness and saboteur chicken

Washington announced that they were going to send three thousand troops to the countries of Eastern Europe bordering Ukraine – Poland and Romania. The decision of the Americans is active discussed in the Western press.

The Russian Embassy in the United States reacted to the dispatch by the Americans of another batch of weapons to Ukraine. Diplomats reminded the US that Moscow is not a party to the conflict. And “stuffing” Kiev with weapons can lead to consequences.

The supply of American weapons to the Ukrainian revanchists only pushes them towards a military solution to the problem of the south-east of the country.

Meanwhile, the Western press continues to play its part. Namely, to escalate the situation. Every day, a new portion of alleged Russian aggression appears on the pages of Western publications.

Now, the analyst’s focus is on the American decision to send 3,000 troops to Europe. Take, for example, the New York Times. The journalists summarize that the situation around security guarantees has led Moscow and Washington to worsen relations since Soviet times. Politico stresses that sending American soldiers to Europe may not be the last stage of the escalation. According to reporters, thousands more American soldiers remain on alert.

Here is a fresh excerpt from an article on CNN – “The move is an important sign that the US is preparing for Moscow to launch an invasion of Ukraine after all. Moscow shows no signs of de-escalation after several rounds of diplomatic talks with the US and NATO.”

NATO welcomed the US decision to send additional forces to Europe. Alliance Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg stressed that all NATO allies agree on “the importance of dialogue and containment of Moscow.”

“We are in favor of a diplomatic solution to the crisis. But we must be prepared for the worst. Yesterday, the US announced the deployment of an additional 3,000 troops to Poland, Germany and Romania. This is a strong signal of US commitment to maintaining security, including the transfer of a missile destroyer in the Mediterranean to NATO command ” Jens Stoltenberg said.

However, Washington contradicts itself. A week ago, White House press secretary Jen Psaki called Russia’s invasion of Ukraine inevitable. Now – took a florid step back.

“I used that word once. But we stopped using the term ‘imminent’ because it sent a signal that we didn’t intend to send, that we knew the Russian president had made this decision,” Jen Psaki explained.

The Russian Foreign Ministry reacted to the change in Washington’s tone. Maria Zakharova Jen Psaki reminded her of her figurative comparison of Russia with a fox, and Ukraine with chickens. And she ironically noted that cuckoos had arrived to replace the “foxes and chickens”.

The chicken – albeit without foxes – looks like it will remain on the agenda of the American media for a long time to come. This brown-and-red bird mysteriously appeared in the Pentagon and made a lot of noise. In social networks, she is called a scout or even a saboteur! And they joke – how did she manage to do such a complex operation to penetrate the Pentagon. They called the bird Henny-Penny – like the chicken – the heroine of an English fairy tale. In the same work, by the way, there is a fox Foxy-Loxy, however, it has not yet been found on the territory of the Pentagon. They even sang a song about Henny-Penny in a popular American show. The track is called “Chicken in the Pentagon”.

Now Henny-Peni has been caught, she is waiting in a carrier for local animal rights activists to send her to an animal shelter. Meanwhile, on the Internet, in the light of political events, the moral of the English fairy tale is being discussed. And she is like this – “before you do anything – you need to think about it carefully.”
