Een opvallend greater aandeel political right georiënteerde nieuwsgebruikers wantrouwt het nieuws van de openbare omroep VRT and other media in vergelijking met linkse nieuwsgebruikers. This is based on a new study from the VUB-onderzoeksgroep imec-SMIT.

Het verrouwen in the most important Vlaamse nieuwsmerken blijft nog vrij hoog. VRT Nieuws span de kroon: 77 percent van the nieuwsgebruikers vertrouwt het nieuws van de openbare omroep. VRT Radio 2, De Tijd, VRT Radio 1 and VTM Nieuws also scored above 70 percent.
Vertrouwenskloof
De onderzoekers represent real well een big verrouwenskloof vast tussen nieuwsgebruikers met een left and right politieke oriëntatie.
