Kulak is not aware of any students who were late to take their exams. Both Howest and Vives talk about about 20 students, mainly from the Oudenaarde region, who were much late or were stuck and therefore could not take their exam. Anyone who was even a little bit late was exceptionally allowed in. Anyone who was much late or has not yet made it may take a catch-up exam later, provided they can provide proof from the NMBS.
It was striking that many students arrived on campus much too early. They had anticipated the weather conditions.
