Struff hits the Rothenbaum in Hamburg

Davis Cup player Jan-Lennard Struff has made his commitment to the ATP tournament in July at Rothenbaum in Hamburg.

“I played one of my first qualifying matches on the ATP tour in Hamburg,” said the 33-year-old, who played as a lucky loser at the ATP Masters in Madrid on Friday evening against Aslan Karatsev from Russia for a place in the final: ” I love the city.”

Olympic champion Alexander Zverev is also back at the tournament in his hometown for the first time since 2019. He has never won at Rothenbaum, in 2014 and 2019 he was in the semifinals.
