Due to announced strong winds for Sunday (February 20, 2022), the start was brought forward from 2:30 p.m. local time (7:30 a.m. CET) to 11:00 a.m. (4:00 a.m. CET). Race distance and route remain unchanged.

The men’s 50-kilometer race was shortened from 50 to 28.4 kilometers on Saturday (02/19/2022) due to adverse external circumstances. The Russian Alexander Bolschunow won.
