Strong criticism of Kane and Tuchel

After the 2-3 defeat at VfL Bochum, criticism of FC Bayern is great. Ex-professional Dietmar Hamann now found clear words for striker Harry Kane and coach Thomas Tuchel.

“The deciding factor in the game yesterday was not Upamecano’s dismissal with the penalty, but Kane’s missed chance,” Hamann clarified on “Sky”: “If Bayern make it 2-0, the thing is over. He has to have the ball in the Play the situation sideways on Müller.”

The 50-year-old is referring to a scene in which Kane appeared free in front of Bochum keeper Manuel Riemann after a dream pass from Jamal Musiala. But the captain of the English national team shot clearly over the opponent’s goal. A cross pass to Müller would probably have been the better option.

According to Hamann, coach Tuchel should not have spared Kane from criticism after the game.

Tuchel “missed a great opportunity”

“Tuchel should have addressed this explicitly after the game. Kane has been spared any criticism so far, so Tuchel could have sent a signal to the entire team that criticism doesn’t stop at any name,” the TV expert noted and added: “He missed a great opportunity to get the team behind him.”

At the clear outsiders VfL Bochum, the Munich team conceded a sobering 2:3 (1:2) after another poor performance and suffered their third competitive defeat in a row. Bayer Leverkusen is now eight points ahead at the top of the Bundesliga table, and the defending champions are no longer in control of their 12th championship in a row.

Takuma Asano (38th), Keven Schlotterbeck (44th) and Kevin Stöger (78th) caused a sensation with a penalty kick for Bayern’s actual opponents, Bochum. Jamal Musiala (14th) initially put the favorites in the lead.

To make matters worse, Bayern defender Dayot Upamecano also saw a yellow-red card (77′).
